Home I Daily Fantasy Sports I DFS I The Best NFL Week 15 Picks This Sunday
NFL Week 15 grants us some great football clashes. One of the most anticipated games – New England Patriots versus Pittsburgh Steelers — is taking place this Sunday at Heinz Field. The Rams are going to Seattle to rise against the Seahawks and try neutralizing QB Russell Wilson.
QB Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers is expected to return this week. This is a big challenge for him, as the opponent will be the 9-4 Carolina Panthers. Even if he needed more rest, there is no time for that. The Packers are already late to the Playoff chase.
Speaking of time, let’s stop wasting it and focus on our list. We present the Best DFS Picks for the Sunday games of NFL Week 15.
“Mr. Perfect” sits on top of the NFL quarterback leaderboard despite last week’s loss to the Dolphins. Tom Brady and his pack are confidently marching towards another Super Bowl. The Patriots are facing the Pittsburgh Steelers and this game promises to be the jewel of Week 15’s crown. We usually see these two teams battling each other in a different setting, when there is more at stake – either deep into the Playoff phase, or in the very final game of the AFC conference.
QB Tom Brady is a favorite in this match-up and would most likely top the DFS rankings as well. Brady is living the peak of his career, while his Steeler counterpart, QB Ben Roethlisberger, is not in the best possible shape as we have seen him before. The last three games between the Pats and the Steelers ended with a victory for New England. This Sunday we expect a lot from the explosive Patriots offense, given their recent performance and the fact that LB Ryan Shazier, who was orchestrating the Steelers defense, is now done for the season.
For his four seasons in the NFL, WR Adam Thielen is improving every year and season 2017 is the best for him so far. Having scored a personal record of 1,161 receiving yards, Thielen is looking to double his 2016 stats. He has become one of the favorites, if not the favorite target of QB Case Keenum. They were getting along on the field pretty well even last week despite the loss to the Panthers. The 27 year old wide receiver scored a 52-yard touchdown.
Adam Thielen is ranked fifth among the NFL fantasy wide receivers and occupies the third place for NFL Week 15’s points projections.
The New Orleans Saints of season 2017 look different on the field now that they don’t have to rely only on the genius of their veteran QB Drew Brees. The Saints have two lethal weapons on their squad and they have been using them a lot recently. These are the running backs Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram. Both possess valuable RB qualities but we believe Kamara will be seeing a few more carries.
The next football challenge awaits the Saints at home in New Orleans. Their guests will be the New York Jets – a team you can expect everything from. Statistically and historically the Saints have the better match-up. They are the more experienced team and if the Jets make the mistake to focus just on Drew Brees as the main threat, they will surely be punished by a ruthless running game.
Gronk is on the rise in his last few games. His catching and flexibility are among his best attributes, which is uncommon for his size. The Steelers are going to have hard times stopping TE Rob Gronkowski this Sunday. It was difficult even before LB Ryan Shazier’s injury. Shazier was the heart and soul of the Steelers defense and was wearing the headset helmet. Brady and Gronkowski will try to exploit any gaps left in the secondary due to the absence of the traditional Pittsburgh defensive play caller.
In the last few games the Baltimore Ravens defense has progressed the most in the NFL. This Sunday we are about to see if that’s a sign of huge improvement, or just due to the Ravens’ weak performance until now.
The Ravens enter NFL Week 15 after a very close game against the Steelers and head to Cleveland with hopes to prolong the Browns’ losing streak. Cleveland’s QB DeShone Kizer is still weak under pressure, which opens big chances to any aggressive defense. Expect the Ravens to take home a huge win and their defensive unit to be among the main reasons for that.
